Few months back Asus Launched their budget segment device in India that is Asus Max Pro M1. Which turned out to be the competitor of Redmi Note 5 Pro under 15,000 INR segment which comes with Qualcomm SnapDragon 636 SoC. In this post I will be sharing the whole Review on Asus Max Pro M1 . If it’s worth to buy , How’s the camera , How long the Battery last , How’s the performance , Which Android version it have , How’s the User interface ? . All these questions will be answered here in this post .

Box contains

The Device itself, A silicone Case, Sim ejector Tool, Charging Dock, A Data syncing and charging cable, Some Manuals and Warranty Card. The fact we like about Asus is that they are offering so much inside the box content, you do not need to spend money for a silicone case but sadly no earphones are included.

Physical Overview

At the Front we have a massive 5.99 inches 18:9 ratio Display which have a Corning Gorilla Glass Protection and at the top of the screen which have a 8 Mega pixels selfie Camera and a Speaker grill. At the Left we have a sim card slot and a dedicated SD card Slot where the user can use a dual sim and a SD card at the same time. At the Right we have the volume rockers and the power button. At the bottom we have the Speaker grills coupled with Charging port  and a 3.5 mm audio jack. At the back we have the Dual rear cameras 13 Mega pixels main camera and the 5 Mega pixels secondary Camera with LED flash and beneath that there is a Finger Print Scanner under which there is a Asus Branding.

Performance

Asus Max Pro M1 is a Budget Segment device under 15,000 INR segment device. The Asus Max Pro M1  Boast a 8 Mega pixels front camera and Dual rear cameras setup where the main camera is 13 Mega pixels main camera and the 5 Mega pixels. Along with that the Asus Max Pro M1 also has 64 GB of internal storage from which the user gets around 52 GB ( approx ) and it supports OTG too. The Asus Max Pro M1 is also available in 3GB+32GB , 4GB+64GB and 6GB+64GB  Variant .

The Asus Max Pro M1 is Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC which is a 64 bit processor which is coupled 4GB of RAM which does it’s work very well. The Ram management in Asus Max Pro M1 was on point as when we opened the app let it be in the memory for a while and even after 24 hours the App didn’t relaunch itself. Well we tried quite few games and it worked quite well. We did tried heavy games and it worked like a charm without a lag .

PubG the most demanding game this time which worked without even a single lag
some other games like Dead Trigger 2, Unkilled Zombie and Modern Strike also worked fine.

Battery

The Asus Max Pro M1 has a massive 5000 mAh non-removable battery which is key highlight of this device and which also makes it fall in the category of a budget device under 15,000 INR. At first use i have charged the device to 100% then we checked the standby time it lasted for 5 days with 24*7 WiFi on, no background application running, auto brightness and sometimes Data services enabled .

The Asus Max Pro M1 also lasted for a day of battery with minimal usage like – 4G data services on, normal web surfing with switching from one social media application to another, WiFi on, auto brightness on and yes with normal gaming too. It still had 20% of battery left after a day of usage .

Camera

Asus Max Pro M1 Dual Rear camera 13+8MP

The Asus Max Pro M1 has Dual rear cameras 13 Mega pixels main camera and the 8 Mega pixels secondary Camera which support  Bokeh. The Stock camera application quite boring and in HDR settings the images took quite a long time to process and some times the images didn’t showed up. The images got over exposed and sometimes the images got over HDR. The Potrait mode is also okayish not that good the blur and the edge detection wasn’t that good. The camera application got crash fewer times and the pictures we took at the normal mode too sometimes came out to be Blurred sometimes. At natural light Asus Max Pro M1’s camera clicks nice photos but in the dark light camera suffers.

Here I am sharing few shots taken from the Asus Max Pro M1-

Android OS

The Asus Max Pro M1 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Stock Interface which makes the User Interface of this Device quite Clean and zero bloatwares means good Ram Management .

My opinion about Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1-

The Asus Max Pro M1 is worth to money if you are looking for a full package of a Budget Device under 15,000 INR. The Device has a decent processor and a massive battery of 5000mAh which gives a great battery backup with 5 days of stand by time. It’s a decent device to get as having a good Specifications sheet which is a direct competitor of Redmi note 5 Pro which is having the same specifications .
