TCL gears up to disrupt India’s consumer tech market

Riding at the back of its 38-years long legacy, TCL is gearing up to yet again innovate the large appliances space with advanced usage of AI and IoT.

The development came on top of TCL inaugurating its panel factory in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. Launched in December last year, the panel factory marked the brand’s first manufacturing unit outside of China. It not only allowed TCL to provide Indian-centric products at competitive prices but also created over 8,000 jobs, thus contributing to the economic development of the overall region. 

TCL is counted amongst the category leaders in India, owing to the brand’s unwavering commitment customer-first and innovation-led approach. As per the Economic Times, TCL is ranked fifth in the Indian market, in terms of 2018 sales of televisions. With an envious product range that leverages industry-leading advancements in artificial intelligence and IoT, TCL is clearly a consumer favourite for various categories, such as large appliances. With the launch of AI & IoT-led innovative products in the near future, TCL will further strengthen its position as a household brand for Indian consumers.
