Github is a popular code repository platform among developers. When it comes to describing a feature or bug, developers have to use text. But video is sometimes easier to illustrate the point. So, GitHub now allows developers to upload videos in issues, pull requests, discussions, and more.

You can upload MP4 and MOV files in discussions, issues, pull requests, and other places on Github. The company began testing video uploads last year and introduced them in public beta in December 2020.

Videos help in describing a bug or a feature in a better way. So, reporting a bug is now easier. Developers can also describe a feature and demonstrate functionality in a pull request.

Video uploads is available across desktop and mobile apps starting today.
